Aviation
We work for a number of local airports and aviation companies and have recently been awarded a maintenance contract with Southampton International Airport Ltd. Works vary in complexity and have been completed both airside and landside. These projects have included specialist structures for flight simulators and aircraft restraining systems (used in severe weather conditions).
Flood Defence, Port & Drainage Works
We often complete works to reduce the risk of flooding, with care taken not to increase the flood risk, damage flood defences, or harm the environment, fisheries, or wildlife. Flood defence projects have been completed for SSE plc, and port works for Land Securities at prestige locations such as Gunwharf Quays. We are also an approved contractor for ABP (Associated British Ports) and carry out works for Hampshire County Council.
Highways
Safe, defect-free, well-functioning roads delivered on time with minimal disruption to users and services and which deliver the best value to our customers are most desirable and the most important element of any highway and environmental improvements.
Planning and environmental mitigation are essential, as is working closely with customers to deliver projects that enhance the local area through carriageway resurfacing, reconstruction and surface treatment, footway renewal and footway surface treatment works.
Section 278 works are also carried out by our NRSWA qualified staff.
Marine
Our location on the south coasts has enabled us to undertake several marine project, including various project from MDL Marinas. Works included saw cutting and removal of approximately 500m2 of concrete pavement, installation of a pre-cast concrete storm drain, with outlet to the sea through the rock wall to help with areas prone to flooding, and fixing issues with surface water through installation of an ‘ACO’ drainage system.
